Major Threatened by Demuslim in Internet Chat

Yesterday Juan Carlos “MajOr” Tena Lopez revealed via a post to StarCraft Reddit that Benjamin “DeMusliM” Baker insulted him over the Skype messaging service, including several threats of physical violence.

The feud was sparked when Major made comments on the stream of WCS Europe player Viktor “Miniraiser” Malmberg, stating Demuslim’s skill level was not high enough to qualify him to speak to StarCraft 2 balance designer David Kim. Upon learning of Lopez’s comments, Baker took the issue into his own hands and confronted the Mexican Terran directly.

“If I see you in real life, I’m gonna beat the shit out of you,” said Baker. When Lopez replied, “Just try and you see what will happen,” Baker added that he would use his own genitals as a weapon.

The record of the conversation begins with Baker threatening a physical altercation with Lopez while insulting his intelligence and physical appearance. Baker refers to instances in the past when he has been accommodating to Lopez, such as allowing their match in the Vasacast Invitational to be played on the North American server.

However, Major remained unconvinced. “I emailed EG manager and he didnt reply to me with an apology,” said Lopez. “I am fearing for my life.”

Lopez insisted that he would not have released the chat logs had he been issued an apology, but did not hear from Baker’s team, Evil Geniuses, for two days, and thus was forced act.
