Inven Invites GE Tigers to Celebratory Dinner in Remote Hunting Lodge

Stating that they had “no hard feelings” about first-place Korean team GE Tiger’s embarrassing loss to last-place Chinese team Team WE at IEM Katowice, Korean forum Inven has invited LCK’s first-place team to a fan-sponsored “welcome home” party in a hunting lodge deep within the Korean wilderness.

“After a stressful three-day tournament, the GE Tigers need to isolate themselves from the hectic modern world of hospitals and police stations,” stated an Inven spokesperson while slowly putting on black leather gloves. “You know what? It was more like a two-day tournament.”

In the post-match chaos of the fateful best of three, the League of Legends community was thrown into panic. Witnesses reportedly spotted Devin “Froskurinn” Ryanne Mohr singing excerpts from Beijing Opera pieces while Christopher “MonteCristo” Mykkles slowly walked into the ocean.

“Why do we even hire analysts?” Eefje ‘sjokz’ Depoortere said, holding her head into her hands and staring at an empty bottle of Leffe. “Down is up. Up is down. What year is it? Who am I?”

She added, “The night is dark and full of team fight errors.”

“Unfortunately, I think our cooks added too much salt to the banquet meals,” apologized Inven poster dignitas.cheney. “But I think that’ll probably be a good thing, since GE Tigers will need to replenish their electrolytes after such a long swim.”

When questioned about the missing roster of CJ Entus, Inven merely replied that they’ll be “having them for dinner.”

Many spectators were disappointed that they did not get to see GE Tigers’ special grand finals uniforms, but Head Coach Jeong “NoFe” No-chul has reassured fans that the uniforms will be put to good use as temporary disguises for the players until the Korean witness protection program can relocate them.
