The Dark Lord Returns to StarCraft 2

Alarming reports from GSL headquarters indicate that the Dark Lord himself, Voldemortosis, has returned from his exile and resumed cursing StarCraft 2 players. Voldemortosis was once a promising young professional player named Dan Stemkoski, who slowly began turning to dark magic after repeatedly facing several DT rushes in his Brood War competitive days.

In 2012, Stemkoski used his powers to perform his first Artosis Curse on Park “Squirtle” Hyun Woo, resulting in his loss against Jung “Mvp” Jong Hyun in the GSL Finals. Since then, Stemkoski was known among progamers as “He-Who-Must-Not-Predict” and continued his unstoppable campaign of cursing finals participants.

In the end, it was not a powerful Korean progamer who stopped him, but a foreign child. When Voldemortosis attempted to use the unforgivable high-five on Greg “IdrA” Fields, now known as the “Boy who Raged,” the curse rebounded and banished him to the shadowy netherrealm of professional Hearthstone.

“He-Who-Must-Not-Predict has grown powerful during his exile, and he will return,” said WCS EU Minister Shaun “Apollo” Clark. “The only way to defeat him is to find and destroy all his horcruxes.”

Fortunately, magical analysts say that instead of dividing his soul into several horcruxes and hiding them, Stemkoski has decided instead to put all his power into a single vulnerable horpylon located at the center of GomTV Studios.
