Aui_2000’s New Team Kicks Him for Rising NA Star

Sources say Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling’s yet to be announced new team has already chosen to kick the TI5 winning former EG player for a rookie French Canadian pubstar named Bartour “Descarteesé” Abaev.

“Descarteesé is not well known right now but he’s very skilled and brings a lot to our team,” said one of Aui’s former Indian drama mongering teammates, one of the former teammates on his new team, not one of his former teammates on EG. “Aui’s skill and popularity seems far too inconsistent based on r/Dota2 voting trends.”

To help mitigate the public relations fallout, the team has brought on Peter “PPD” Dager, who graciously volunteered his time to help write a statement detailing why Aui was removed again.

Little is known about Aui’s replacement, the enigmatic Bartour, who was a philosopher before playing Dota 2 professionally. Since then, he has climbed the NA MMR leaderboards playing almost exclusively Ember Spirit and Rikimaru.

“I rage, therefore I am,” waxed Abaev, sitting shirtless in a darkened room. “And thus, the actions of Dota oft not allow any delay in kicking, as it is a truth very certain that, if one does not take decisive roster action within our power based upon our most true opinions, in the end, our path would follow the most probable: we’d fucking lost.”

Western Dota 2 pro players have given their impressions about the new player:

• Zai: “Seems like a good guy.”

• Fear: “We’d definitely want him on our team.”

• Loda: “He needs to win a LAN before he talks.”

• 7ckingmad: “He’s a good player, a bit overrated in my opinion. But definitely okay to be in a top team!

• Kuroky: [Translated from German] “He seems young and immature and probably prone to saying untrue things about people.”

The new Descarteesé-led team plans to look for sponsors and support before joining Mousesports next May.
