Dyrus Runs Away From Home to Play League of Legends

In a Reddit post that has left the community buzzing, rising LoL star Marcus “Dyrus” Hill announced that he was officially homeless, having run away from home after his teammates confronted him about his League of Legends playing. After an alleged shouting match, Dyrus was told that he could no longer play League of Legends as long has he lived under the TSM household.

“We’ve [Team SoloMid] been very concerned with Dyrus’s behavior over the previous month,” said Coach and PR Manager Choi ‘Locodoco’ Yoon-sub. “He’s recently become obsessed with this game — called ‘League of Legends,’ I think. Every day, he spends hours making plays, getting a positive KD, and even getting ganks by the allied jungler. We feel like Dyrus has gotten too crazy about this game, and it’s distracting him from his job.”

In his Reddit post, Dyrus stated that he plans to find a place to stay until he either finds a job in playing professional League of Legends or invents a time machine that allows him to visit another meta. He received mixed advice from the reddit community. Some supported his choice, stating that he shouldn’t give up his talent, but others criticized his decision, stating that it’s too risky for a top laner to play professional League of Legends. Most comments were merely variations of the word “TSM” with no context or contribution to the discussion.

Travis “SotLTravis” Gafford offered the young man a place to stay among his gang of pickpockets and thieves, composed of children who had similarly run away from home to pursue professional LoL.

The TSM household is incredibly worried about the status and location of the fleeing Hawaiian. News of Dyrus’s sudden departure left Lucas “Santorin” Larssen speechless, and Jang-sik “Lustboy” Ham put his hands on his face in shame. Soren “Bjergsen” Bjerg was allegedly jealous of all the attention that Dyrus was getting, claiming that he deserved “mid priority.”

Witnesses have reported seeing TSM owner Andy “Reginald” Dinh slowly patrolling the neighborhood in a car, calling for top laner Marcus “Dyrus” Hill to, “Please come home,” and making promises about having his favourite microwaveable food, just for him. Reporters at the scene noted that a number of posters had been distributed throughout the neighbourhood by Dinh and Choi, offering a reward for anyone who can help return their lost top laner:

Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng, who faced a similar situation years before, had this to say to Dyrus: “No, don’t do it. It’s so hard, and it’s such a risk. You’re going to gamble two years of your life on this dream that you have, and it’s just got [sic] harder and harder since I did it. Besides, what’s so bad about staying on an aging NA team while your talents go to waste?”

This marks the second time a TSM player has gone missing from the house. Just a month ago, it was reported that, try as they might, none of TSM’s players could see Lustboy for a whole week.
